Networking
What is a local network?
A local network is a group of devices – such as computers, game systems, printers, and mobile devices – that connect to the Internet and each other. Local/Home networks connect in two ways: A wired network, which connects devices like printers and scanners with cables and wireless like laptops, smart phone, ipad/Tablet.
Today almost every home and small business has a local network, and an Internet connection.
The home network or small/local area network enables multiple devices e.g. PCs,tablets etc to connect to each other, and also to connect to the internet. This type of Network is provided through your Internet Service Provider (ISP), it’s not secured, the ISP can see everything you’re doing on the Internet.
HitechNotch build for its customers a Secure Local Home Network (SLHN). It’s provided a Server Firewall isolation from your ISP and masked your Internet physical Location.
HitechNotch will create an account for everyone in the family. Optionally, that account can be part of the roaming profile. It means that you are allowed to log in to any Computer in the Network and your profile will follow you. We’ll also connect and install your printer to the Network, so you can Print/Scan anywhere you want.
The main components required to build a typical Secure Home/Small Business Network are:
- Router or Wireless router – Connects the network and Wi-Fi equipped devices to the Internet.
- Ethernet HUB or Switch – is a device that acts as an extension to the router in case you have more than 4 hardware.
- Cable cat 5, cat5e or cat 6 with RJ45 connectors.
- HitechNotch will build a central and VPN servers that will represent a core hardware for your Secure Home Network.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
